1950s Advance Vintage Sewing Pattern 6640, Size 14, Bust 32; American Designer Pattern - Ruth Fair. The NewYork Times Designer Series.
Misses' Dress. Slim dress with contrast trim features back skirt wrap sewn into left side seam. (View 1) Bodice with high round neckline open at center front. Three-quarter length sleeve cut-in-one with bodice has underarm gusset. Contrast trim ties in bow at neckline. Bodice trim simulates "shrug" bolero. Back skirt wrap finished at waistline with contrast trim that ties in front. Left side zipper closing. Suggest dress in plaid as well as plain fabrics. (View 2) Basic dress, plain skirt, novelty belt. Good accessory dress.
Vintage condition: Uncut, factory fold pattern, instructions included. Pieces may be discolored. Envelop in good condition with minor wear along edges and corners, and discoloration.
